Thomas Merton clearly has a very intimate, very passionate relationship with God. Merton has the gift of being able to challenge the stability that so many of us cling to.
Merton’s book isn’t a step by thommas how to book, but it does widen and deepen the reader’s understanding of prayer. His writings commonly deal with issues of social justice and spirituality.
