This is her third book featuring a famous person from the Roaring Twenties; the other was about Zelda Fitzgerald and I haven’t had a chance to read that one yet.

Were her two sisters at all like her? Vincent Millay is to show their humanity through their fascinating lives in order to honor them and remind readers of their work. This novel revolves around the lives of the fictional seamstress Laura Kelley and the real poet Edna St. Delightful historical fiction and highly recommended! I wished her sister Marie would have been more observant to what Laura was going through. After finishing eriika 4th novel, I am more than sure that Erika Robuck is my favorite rlbuck author.

Every word drips and I must slow to catch it. I am not a huge poetry fan, but for those that are, they will appreciate that Millay’s poems are sprinkled throughout the story. As her pregnancy by an un-named lover becomes more obvious, the town’s judgmental views result in fewer customers and fewer friends.

I knew very little of Edna St. She was both brazen and respectful in displaying this grand creatures true colors. Her characters never fail to grab me and keep my attention. Vincent Millay, but this book has definitely painted a good picture of her.

As our attention span constricts in response to the gadgets we use, poetry could supply a new consciousness with deep meaning in short form. The people of the community are horrified to have such debauchery take place so near their homes and have shunned Millay from their lives as well as anyone who takes part in the wild parties.

The ever growing tension both between them, within themselves, and with efika other characters in the book is not fully resolved until late in the book and then in a dramatic way.
