If you want to compare 10gig to 10Gig price out the VNXe…. This is some pretty sweet stuff. I uploaded it and it unlocked all sorts of fun features, I managed to find a list of features and if they are included in the base license or if they are an upgrade.

Depending on the type of disk you have, and the type of pool you want, you are required to add drives to that pool in a certain order. I am currently working with this devices. I believe there is a maximum number of drives per storage pool, but you would have to check with EMC to see what that limit is. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. To support RAID 10 you will need a minimum of 6 drives. At first glance the VNXe looks much like the Clariion AX4, the only thing that is different physically is the front bezel and the interfaces on the controllers. I still like the P if you dont need file protocols.
